"Stone and Glass Gardens,” consists of three stepped platforms, two on the lower level and one on the upper ticketing level around a major concourse escalator. Fossil limestone, a material familiar in Florida, glass, symbolic of water. and plants complete a metaphor for the surrounding Everglades. A diagrammatic boat frame structure is set into the top of the third level platform.
